Here is my Nikon digital system.  The flash is the Nikon SB-800.  I can remove the flash and reposition it for different angles of the flash.  It can also be tilted upwards.  It features through the lens (TTL) exposure control.

I've known Steve for many years.  Steve has an enthusiastic approach to Amateur Radio.  He likes to operate on AM and CW.
